2 years later...

So here I am in the summer of 2009 and a lot has happened to me since my last post. First and foremost, I finally graduated from CCNY with my Bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing, especially after juggling a full-time career with a courseload that was not favorable to evening students whatsoever. Secondly, I am at a new job in the book publishing world as yet another Publicity Assistant. I am pondering my next step up in the career ladder. Perhaps an as a Creative Writing professor? Thirdly, I have gained more experience freelancing for several e-zines, both lifestyle and literary. Most importantly, I just applied to graduate school for my MFA in Creative Writing and am working on a poetry chapbook.

Aside from my professional endeavors, I am working on being happy without distractions of anxiety, anger, boyfriends, and dependecy. How successful can I be well that's a story in the making!
